This privacy policy applies to all products and services offered by Offerdox which includes but is not limited to our websites, Offerdox Apps, and services. Your use of Offerdox products & services will indicate your authorization for Offerdox to collect, use, disclose, store, and process your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

From time to time, Offerdox may change this privacy policy and Offerdox will notify you of any changes by posting the changed privacy policy on the Offerdox website. If you do not agree with the changes to this privacy policy then you must stop using Offerdox products & services.

Our Roles

Offerdox is committed to ensuring we are compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act and other applicable regulations.

In respect of data collected in the delivery of Offerdox products & services to customers and potential customers of Offerdox, including the support of those products & services, whereby the collection of personal data is required for that delivery, the data controller is Offerdox.

In respect of the data collected by our customers whilst using Offerdox products & services to deliver primarily (but not limited to) recruitment and human resources services to job seekers and employees of customers, Offerdox shall process personal information as a data processor on behalf of our customers. In this scenario, our customer is the data controller. Our customer’s privacy policy in addition to this privacy policy should be read and understood.

Information Offerdox collects

To provide Offerox products & services we collect from you:

  • Your personal information

  • Personal information about anyone else that you give Offerox products & services.

You must make sure that your personal information is accurate, complete, up-to-date, and not misleading when it is disclosed to Offerdox.

If you give Offerox personal information about someone else, then you must be authorized to do so and you must tell that person about this privacy policy.

How Offerox collects your personal information

Offerdox collects your personal information when you:

  • Use the Offerdox products & services on your computer, mobile, tablet, or any other electronic device

  • Use Offerox support

  • Communicate with Offerdox via any communication channel

  • Apply for a job with Offerox

Offerdox will hold your personal information for as long as your personal information is required for the purposes it was disclosed and for as long as is necessary for Offerdox to comply with its legal obligations.

Offerdox will use reasonable care to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, and loss.

While Offerdox utilizes secure connections for data transmission, the transmission of information via the Internet can not be guaranteed secure, and as such any information you transmit to Offerdox or Offerdox transmits to you is transmitted at your own risk.

Offerdox utilizes industry-standard encryption AES-256 for the encryption of data and data at rest.

Where Offerdox stores your personal information

Offerdox stores your personal information in the cloud–hosted by both Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.

What happens if you don't give Offerdox your personal information

If you decide not to give Offerdox Your Personal Information, then you:

  • will not be able to use the Offerdox products & services;

  • will not be kept updated on things that are happening at Offerdox

What happens if there is a privacy breach

In the event of a privacy breach that Offerdox believes has caused (or is likely to cause) serious harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and affected individuals as soon as possible.

Your Rights

To exercise any of the below rights please contact us at support@offerdox.com and:

  • let us have enough information to identify you,

  • let us have proof of your identity and address.

  • let us know the information to which your request relates.

If you are a user of our products & services you should email us from the email address that you used to register with Offerdox. Receipt of an email from this address may be sufficient to confirm your identity, however, we may request one or more identification documents, such as a copy of your driving license or passport and a recent utility or credit card bill.

Request access to your personal information:

You have the right to access any personal information that Offerdox holds about you. If we cannot give you access to the personal information that you have requested, then we will let you know the reasons for not disclosing your personal information.

Offerdox will not disclose personal information that Offerdox holds about you on behalf of a customer. All requests for information held by Offerox on behalf of a customer need to be made to the customer, not Offerdox.

 If you are not happy with our reasons, please contact us in the first instance, if you are not satisfied then you have the right to complain to the Privacy Commissioner in your country.

Request correction of your personal information:

You have the right to request correction of the personal information that Offerdox holds about you. Offerdox will correct your personal information if it is necessary to ensure that personal information is accurate, up-to-date, complete, and not misleading. If Offerox decides that it is not necessary to correct your personal information, Offerdox will let you know the legal reasons for Offerox’s decision. If you are not happy with our legal reasons, please contact us in the first instance, if you are not satisfied then you have the right to complain to the Privacy Commissioner in your country.

Cookies: A cookie is a small file that can be placed on your computer, mobile, tablet, or any other electronic device when you visit websites that are provided as part of Offerdox products & services. Cookies allow the relevant website to recognize a user's device. There are two types of cookies:
